Are you in a situation where your car key stopped working? Symptoms of a bad key is car cranking but does not start or car does not crank at all when you attempt to start. Every vehicle has an indicator light in the instrumental cluster or on the dash, it’s typically a red blinking light, or car sign with a lock, or car sign with a key, or yellow blinking light. When there is a bad key situation, these lights start blinking. When the key is accepted, these lights go away.
