Recently had a customer who had the key stuck in the ignition lock cylinder. Prior to that, the customer mentioned that the ignition key was not turning the ignition lock cylinder without wiggling for minutes and in some cases much longer. These are signs of the wafers within the lock cylinders going bad and time to service it before failing completely like this case.

We removed the ignition lock cylinder and replaced all the wafers with OEM Honda Wafers and also cut a new ignition key. The main culprit that damaged lock cylinders is the key itself, below are images of 2 keys –
